About Me

Ms. T: New Jersey, United States; Hello let me introduce myself; my name is Ms. T. I am a native Newarker, who speaks 3 languages, Portuguese, Spanish & English. I am blessed to teach our lovely children with special needs math for grades 6th, 7th and 8th. I enjoy helping others and making them smile especially I see a discouraged youth, and that light goes off. I find myself loving to paint. I found out by accident that I can actually paint. At first all I wanted to do was help our church but I did not know how. I was given the opportunity to coordinate a festival for our children, but we had no face painter, nor a balloon twister. It’s funny what happens when we help each other. Since then I have learned to paint, and twist balloons. I learned temporary glitter tattoos, & belly painting as well. God has blessed me to make others smile. The best thing is being able to teach others what I have learned. As I tell the children it may not be easy but you can do it; it is not who is smarter, it is who works harder! The more you practice the better you will get, that goes for math, painting, helping others, no matter what it is, no matter what your disability is you have the ability to LEARN
